This project was wonderful to paint, I took photos of the room and did detailed sketches of each wall. I also hand painted two sample boards. The challenge here was the metallic gold wall, and it's reaction to my artists oils. This project included Master Bedroom, Hall and Master Bath. The Hall and … Bath project photos will follow in next project portfolio. I tried to make each bird have some context in the room- at the wall that greets the visitor as they come in , I painted a bird in nest(at rest) , two love birds, and as you leave for the day above the doorway I painted a bird singing , ready to seize the day! In my mural I had the birds interacting with the next and the branches to draw the viewers eye around the room. At the TV I have stronger colors to work against the black color of the TV when it is off. I worked with muted colors from the bedding fabrics and upholstery fabric swatches as well as the client's wonderful green / gold drapes.
