Years ago, I had a vision of a spiraling sun. It was a profound experience for me and I have been drawn to spirals ever since. I have found the spiral in ancient rock art, basketry, pottery and jewelry throughout the world and have always wondered if anyone else experienced what I saw. So, I … decided to make this necklace. I hand fabricated the silver spiral. Its size is 1/2" in circumference and 5/16" deep. It is 3 dimensional and hand stamped on the back. The silver beads in this necklace are from the Hill Tribes of Thailand and the tiny red beads are old whitehearts. The necklace is strung on artificial sinew and finished with a spiral clasp and artist tag. The length is 18.5 inches.
