The Hawaiian Royal Queen Pendant is a tribute to the last Hawaiian Queen Liliuokalani who was imprisoned under house arrest in her palace in Honolulu. The lustrous white coin peal represents her face crowned by a rainbow of semi-precious gemstones of pink tourmaline, peridot, amethyst, blue topaz … and citrine. The Queen's body is a lovely oval shaped hand-cut Maui black coral.. Black coral is the official state gemstone of Hawaii so it really is worthy of a royalty pendant design! Queen Liliuokalani is still greatly revered and adored by her people and her bravery and stoic life is the basis of many Hawaiian songs, legends and tributes of all kinds. Living in Hawaii I feel it is important to pay homage to the past glory of its monarchy and this pendant is my way of honoring the last reigning Queen of Hawaii.
