This is a red oak heirloom cradle. It is solid wood throughout and features gentle curves to give the cradle more of an organic look. All joints are mortise and tenon and are pegged to give it added strength. It is designed to be a piece that can be handed down across generations.

The finish … is based upon Sam Maloof's recipe and features 6 individual coats that are hand applied and buffed to a fine luster. The end result is a finish that penetrates deeply into the wood and is very durable.
