Heirloom Textile Quilt
As an artist, I create quilts with many patterns and images. These quilts were all made to incorporate family heirloom textiles. Most of them were tablecloths. Then, I used additional fabrics to create a composition, and hand quilted the piece together. I love to work with fabrics that have personal meanings behind them, other examples include, sheets, clothes, and flags. These quilts are 5x5', but I can work with you to find the right size as a wall hanging, throw, or bedding.
The quilt featured here is titled, "Beginners." It was made with my mother's tablecloth, wrapping around the outer edge, and in the center.
