Highlands Nightstand

These tall, five-sided tables were designed for a new cottage in Highlands, NC. They fit on either side of a pencil post bed set in a large bay window. They are made from Honduras mahogany, with ebony drawer handles and glass shelves. The fretwork star supports the glass shelf, strengthens the legs, and visually balances the top and apron.

I am incredibly satisfied with my experience working with Hand Made Furniture through CustomMade. My mirrors turned out exactly as I had requested. They are excellent quality, sturdy pieces with a beautiful, professional finish. James does fantastic woodworking and really took the time to understand what I was looking for. He was very easy to communicate with and responsive. The project was finished on time and on budget. I highly recommend using Hand Made Furniture for custom projects.
