I am thrilled with my custom pedestal created by Dan Rieple. I searched 6 months for a pedestal for a sculpture I recently acquired and could find absolutely nothing worthy of the sculpture. Until I found Dan. Now I have two works of art!
A whimsical piece we call "launched" since it was made for a graduating high school senior and the legs resemble rockets. The style is contemporary, with Arts & Crafts influence. This blanket chest is lined with cedar. Pulls and accent are Wenge. Finish: Hand rubbed Linseed Oil, polyurethane and wax. Fiddle Back Maple Veneer, Solid Cherry, Wenge and Cedar.
