Horned Mahogany Keepsake Box
I designed this after watching people interact with a jewelry box that had a more conventional centered pull; while they lifted the lid with the pull, they almost always lowered the lid by grasping the two outer corners. So I put the pulls there...and it works great! It's fun to carve the pulls, too. The curving dovetails are pure joy, at least now that the effort to make them is comfortably faded.
The interior of the box can be designed for jewelry, keepsakes, letters, or for specific objects that you want to protect and display beautifully.
