This was designed for a couple that wanted their home to have a contemporary Japanese aesthetic. We selected beech, set off with a rosewood and mahogany collected by our client in Laos. Other materials that we coordinated with, were Doug Fir posts and beams, white oak flooring, a wonderful green … granite, and grey tile floor.

The focal point of this kitchen, is it's asymmetrically triangular island, designed to complement the kitchens angles and it's curved peninsula. It has touch latch doors.

Across the room from the kitchen we did an interpretation of a tokonoma. Behind the large doors is a TV. Electronic components are housed below.
