The original design base joins 32 points in curved and angled space. The case is a perfect rectangle, mounted like a jewel and inlaid with an intersecting wave pattern in steam bent rock maple. Inside are 16 bookmatched drawers with a natural figure that mimics the outside wave pattern. The drawers pull out and swivel open to reveal the treasures you put inside. Raised and carved dovetailed dentil mouldings inside add spice to the design. This is a large cabinet that would hold a large collection. This was a finalist in fine woodworking magazines 'Cure for the Common Cabinet' contest, 2009
