This was a custom Scotch bar that was made for an executive's office. The main cabinet was crafted from East Indian Rosewood that was inlaid with faux ivory.

The split shell exterior pivots/swings open to reveal an interior containing glass shelf, mirror back, LED lighting, granite work … surface, pullout mixing tray and small utility drawer for miscellaneous items such as cork screws, bottle stoppers, coasters and napkins.

The cabinet sits on a simple 4 legged base that was crafted from solid cherry using mortise and tenon joinery. The cherry wood was ebonized using a traditional iron and vinegar solution to naturally darked the tannins of the wood.
