These earrings are made with a number of keishi cornflake pearls. This particular pair uses peacock colored pearls, each of which has a 2mm sterling silver bead in it. In the center of the pearls is one larger 4mm sterling silver bead. The overall look is that of a lovely, multi colored flower with a silver center.
The pearls are hand wired onto an Argentium sterling silver frame covered in silver Italian wire mesh. The finished frame is depended from Argentium sterling silver ear wires.
I make these earrings with other colors of keishi pearls, depending on which colors I have in stock. The beads used in the center of the pearls depend on the color of the keishis I use. For instance, I usually use small natural rubies in white or cream keishis.
I also make this style of earring in 14k gold filled wire.
Dimensions
From 3/4 to 1 1/2 inch wide. The earrings dangle 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 inches below the top of the ear wire.
