"Kelp Forest" Polyester Resin Gentleman's Ballpoint Twist Pen with Rhodium and 22kt Gold Metal

One of the coolest things about casting my own medium for making pens is that it can reflect my experiences. I grew up in Southern California scuba diving on the Channel Islands. That means kelp. Lots … of kelp! I tried to come up with something that reminded me of that, and I came up with...rotini pasta. That's right, 4-color rotini pasta! I cast it in a deep, rich, crushed mica tinted resin, and I have to say, it reminds me of the colors found in the kelp forest! The pen itself is the most elegant twist ballpoint pen available to us. It is a thinner, one-piece version of the Gentleman's pen. No top cap to unscrew, just twist to open and close, but very elegant, with a lovely feel. Great size for all hands. The metal is thick Rhodium plate with 22kt Gold in the band and the cap. My favorite one piece twist pen, by far. Good luck finding this in the Mall!
