Custom made axe based on the description form the Mountain Man Sketch Book. Made from mild steel with an inset and forge welded tool steel cutting edge. The eye in this axe was punched hot then drifted. The handle is hand carved from ash.

Dimensions: this is about a 3 pound axe with a 24" handle. The cutting edge is around 3 1/2"
