OLD SCHOOL guitar. This one was made from a vintage Kildows box and some wood that came off of my 1890 Wisconsin barn. Old school captures the spirit of what the cigar box guitars are all about, with a few updated ideas. No electronics, no fret wire, three strings, floating bridge, burned … position markers. Neck is through the box butternut with a barnwood fretboard. I carved the string saddle with a pocket knife from an old piece of maple. This one will be hard to let go, but my lovely bride says I can't keep 'em all. Old school guitars speak to me for some reason.... moonshine's comin up the road ....
