This is a masive king size bed made of black walnut. Each of the 6x6 posts features "crotch" figure with hand turned burl finials. The elegant custom-designed bedrails have a platform shelf and integrated curved braces. The bed breaks down and the bedrails fasten to the headboard and footboard with heavy-duty bolts. The countersunk bolt locations are covered with burl wood button plugs.
