This design was an exercise in both simplicity and extremes. I refrained from supporting the tabletop in any way preferring the drama of the cantilever in combination with the sharp angles. The wedge, which locks the precisely fit tenon of the diagonal leg as it pierces through the top, is friction fit and provides the pieces lone adornment. Tap it out and this knock-down piece slides apart into three separate components.
