During the mid-seventies I apprenticed as an upholsterer for Ralph Kamo. While working in his shop I realized that most chair and sofa design is restricted by the construction. I determined to find a way of designing a chair that would express liberty from traditional form. As well as being the answer to this design restriction, the Kamo Chair is functional lounge seating. It is laminated ash with leather.

Cherry Veneer Home Theater Bookcase

We Retained Glenn Ward, of Eidos Design Studio, to design and manufacture a special piece of furniture. We wished to have a type of wall unit to accommodate our music equipment and CDs, and as well to function as a book case and display case for small art pieces. We knew how we wanted the piece to function and we had some ideas on how we wished it to look. Glenn worked with us in sketching those ideas, then applying his training and experience he offered suggestions which led to the final design. The end result is a piece of furniture that is functional, beautiful, unique - and in it's own right a piece of art. Without hesitation I recommend Glenn and his services to anyone wishing to invest time and money in the creation of a piece of furniture that will be a subject of admiration and conversation, a piece that is truly unique, a piece that will outlive the maker and buyer alike and will be passed down for generations.
