This is a Larch-veneered sideboard, used for all-purpose storage. The veneer was custom-laid with a "waterfall" detail at the intersection of the top and sides. The feet are solid Wenge. The client wanted a piece that would accommodate most of his belongings (clothes, papers, small electronics, etc) and look at home in his living room. The piece has 18 drawers and, in spite of its size, looks right at home.
