  • Frank, I started on the case. I measured and cut out the leather. I use cowhide for the cover and pigskin for the interior. I draw the design on the leather. Then I carve it using a knife. Then I use a beveling tool and hammer around the cut to raise the design up off the leather. I'm going to dye it now and let it dry overnight. Good night! carving
