  • Andy, I did this different than I do my other work. I cut the leather last. I did this because it's hard to tool on small pieces of leather for me. So I drew the image first and then cut, with a knife, around the state. Then I used the beveling tool and hammer to raise the state and the seven up from the leather. Now I'm going to dye it tan and in the morning I'll dye the seven. I'll send more pictures then. Have a great night! Kerry one patch fully tooled

  • Andy, I finished with rockers and have started on the small hog skulls. Like before I cut the leather last. So I drew skull first, cut and then tooled. Lastly I cut it out from the leather. Now I'll work on the other three. Hey, we finally got some rain, but, it only lasted for a couple of minutes, LOL. I feel sorry for the farmers! More later... carving
