Live Edge Claro Walnut Bench

This two seater bench was made from a spectacular piece of claro walnut. As I was working the plank I came across a bit of metal that I soon discovered to be a bullet, as the soft lead did not damage tools. I tried briefly to remove it, but it seemed the larger end was burried below the surface. So, it got to stay and add to the conversation about this beautiful piece.

I met Jason at his workshop and was very impressed with a project that he was working on at the time. Beautiful custom cabinets for someone's kitchen. Jason measured my old worn out cutting board and then I was on my way. Within a few weeks I had a beautiful solid maple cutting board that fit perfectly into my existing cabinet. It classes up the whole kitchen.
