This live edge coffee table is made from a single slab of Walnut. I bevel cut one end to "fold" the wood and make a diving board style. This particular table is ready to sell for $5,500. Similar tables could be made in a wide range of woods and prices. It is finished with a penetrating oil that is both beautiful and easy to care for.

Some say that the kitchen is the heart of the home. Bob Card of Greenwood Bay created a stunning island that is the heart of our kitchen. It was so much fun to work with Bob every step of the way, from choosing the wood to selecting hardware, and we now have a one of a kind show-stopper specifically made for our space. Bob listened carefully to everything we wished the island to be and proceeded in a methodical and meticulous manner to create a work of art. Everyone seeing it for the first time stops in their tracks and says, "Wow." The island is a fun combination of practical and artistic - terrific storage in drawers/shelves underneath with a custom eco-friendly red paint, crowned with a flowing river of Chinese Tallow and Walnut, complete with a live edge which we felt saved the "soul" of the tree. We could not be happier with this artistic and unique addition to our home, and would highly recommend Bob for your special project.
