Local Elm Slab Dining Table
CustomMade by Jason Holtz
This table represents my first adventure in urban tree sawing. The magnificent elm came from a friends backyard, was 42" in diameter. I sawed the log into 2" thick slabs and had them kiln dried. The table is a pair bookmatched slabs, each 20" wide. The legs are mortised right into the ends of the slab and rails are set back to be nearly invisible.

Custom Cutting Board
by Bonita Jan 05th 2013
I met Jason at his workshop and was very impressed with a project that he was working on at the time. Beautiful custom cabinets for someone's kitchen. Jason measured my old worn out cutting board and then I was on my way. Within a few weeks I had a beautiful solid maple cutting board that fit perfectly into my existing cabinet. It classes up the whole kitchen.
