This is a site-specific piece. It was partially fabricated at the shop, then installed one picket at a time, each picket drilled directly into the granite ledge. The curve on the rop rail was shaped on-site to follow the curve of the ledge, then all was welded together. The homeowners hava a path leading up to the ledge, and wanted to be able to enjoy the view!
