Strong Shaker influence with a modern twist allow this table to fit comfortably in any setting. The ten foot top is made from three boards, the center measuring 19" wide. Often the legs on tables are glued up from smaller thicknesses, but in this case the legs were cut from 4" thick walnut. Sliding mortise and tenon joints hold the breadboard ends in place, keeping the top flat while allowing the wood to move without cracking. This table was shipped to Scotland.
