Mackintosh Washstand

Crafted for the hallway of a 4 square home in Morgantown WV. The washstand was originally made for the Blue Bedroom at "Hous'hill," the residence near Glasgow that the designer furnished for one of his most important clients, Kate Cranston. Miss Cranston, as she was known, was the proprietress of a group of highly successful tearooms in Glasgow, many of which were also designed by Mackintosh.

From the beginning, Pat was extremely attentive to the details of our project. We proposed a design and he asked a lot of questions to tease out the things we hadn't thought of and suggested many improvements to our design. The pieces were delivered by him, on time and are of very high quality. We would definitely use Pat again.
