The Maggos purchased the childhood home of Francis Ford Coppola in Lake Forest, IL. This beautiful historic home did not fit their needs of a modern lifestyle in either function or space. The challenge was to create functionality in terms of space and utility, yet to also retain the spirit and … aesthetics of the original structure. This required a complete reconfiguring of the interior space and the addition of a massive Great Room and beams, which became the central focus of the project.
