Mahogany Bookshelves

I designed and built a set of Victorian bookshelves for this client. The fretwork on the central pilasters mirror the same pattern found on the corners of the existing desk. One of the full shelf cases pivots out when released by a hidden latch to provide access to a storage closet behind the shelves. All shelves are movable using the older method of adjustable wood battens rather than using more modern shelf pins.

The reclaimed, antique Chestnut wood chairs are beautiful and look like Antiques. He went the extra mile to find Organic Hemp for the seat webbing. Design is unique, which is what I wanted, and my cats have approved of them as well.

murphy bed

I was very happy with how the Murphy bed turned out. It exceeded my expectations. Jim also spent a lot of time making sure the installation was perfect even though it was a tight space.

Jim was fantastic to work with. He took great care in listening to the details of our project and offering his own suggestions as well. The design process went very smoothly and we were thrilled with the finished result. Jim does not settle for anything less than perfection and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a unique piece of woodworking.
