This piece is made from solid mahogany and mahogany crotch veneers with secondary parts made of maple and poplar. The legs are shaped from 12/4 mahogany. The drawers feature book-matched crotch veneers and hand-cut dovetails. The drawers slide on frames of hard maple that are fitted with poplar dust panels. The aprons feature steam bent, applied walnut cock-beading.
