I was commissioned to make this bench for a friend. He wanted a bench to match the one he was currently using, which in real life was a serving tray! However, it was the right size and height for him, so the serving tray became the template.
He sent me the design he wanted engraved on the top. I … converted the file, cleaned up the resulting image and created a toolpath for the CNC engraving machine.
It was finished with a light stain and sealed with an oil finish. My friend tells me it works great and when meditating he does not think of food at all.
