This was a large custom Kitchen that was completed using Texas native Mesquite in Wimberley Texas. This particular kitchen was built in the family's entertainment home where they host friends and family. This kitchen utilizes face frame construction. We utilized many creative design features to provide a more custom appearance such as cubby spaces and custom designed island. We enjoyed building this project. The island turned out great along with the rest of the project! The customer was very happy! There were multiple pull out features in this project. Pricing is difficult as Mesquite can range from expensive to very expensive in the rough. Mesquite is not readily available through commercial milling unless a premium is paid but it is easily obtained from local mills. I think it is awesome to be able to create beauty from what is in it's rawest form simply a thorny Texas native Mesquite tree.
