Components are made from raw bar stock and formed by forged rivets and or traditional forged welds for authenticity. Fired … over a hot forge, to hammer shaping on an anvil. Our hoods essentially wrap around our exclusive stainless steel exhaust ventillation inserts, engineered to meet the different needs and combinations of cook-surfaces; gas & electric burners, B.B.Q's, griddles, woks. Custom finishes such as; dry brushing, antiquing, flaming, acid washes, heat resistant top-coats. Altogether creates endless textures & finishes! We design all disciplines from contempory, traditional, to exotic forms. Often, hoods are required to meet an architectural theme-line in the kitchen, acting as the 'focal point' and or architectural statement, this is our specialty! 'Ready in the box' hoods are the status-quo for the mass manufacture's, where ranges are peered primarily as utility in function and the hood offerings, being very sterile. However, hoods are highly conspicuous, at eye level & highly exposed three dimensional, where both function & form are necessary in a premium kitchen! Customization requires unique & changing aspects in each hood. It's location also requires design & diverse engineering needs; hood's size, 'ratio to he size of kitchen', height of cooks, & height of the ceiling, different exhaust sizing (cfm) & interior lighting needs, to name a few.
