A gentleman from Brooklyn approached me with a general idea for this piece. After a bit of discussion, we decided on this final design. It is quite sleek and relies more on the beauty of the materials than complexity of design. There is a piece of black slate inlaid on the top so a nighttime glass of water will not leave rings.
