Years ago, my husband bought me a claddagh band with an emerald set into it (my birthstone)…I love it because, even though I am not of celtic decent, he is and now I am too by default. I wanted to make a version of a claddagh band that was a little bit modern but still had the same meaning and
… sentiment. It's an easy ring to wear…a little less ornamental than a traditional claddagh band but with the same "heart".
THE MAKING OF THE PIECE:
As with all of my rings, this piece starts out as raw stock and I do all the forming, shaping, soldering, inscribing and finishing with love in my studio. I take pride in making each piece by hand, built from the ground up, not sent off to be cast by someone else! For that reason, I can customize this piece in many ways, if you're looking for something specific.

Christen was so amazing! My custom request was very special to me, and she got that. She made sure everything was perfect and even allowed me to pick it up in person to ensure I had it before my deadline. She was super friendly and my bracelet is beyond beautiful!
