This is a custom standing jewelry and/or lingerie cabinet. The outer body is solid 3/4" black cherry. The black cherry frame and spalted maple doors swing freely on solid brass knife hinges. They latch with a rare earth magnet inset on the center interior shelf. Custom door pulls are held in … place with small steel rods mortised into the door frame. Interior drawer faces are Cocobolo and have custom carved maple pulls. Drawer construction is halfblind dovetails in the front and full dovetails in the rear. The top right drawer is actually a ring drawer capable of holding up to 20 rings. All other drawers have velvet lined bottoms. The necklace/bracelet hangers are extra thick spalted maple and have retaining trays at the bottom for your miscellanious bobbles... Hand-shaped black walnut legs are built with pinned mortise and tennon joints. Overall dimensions are 62 inches tall x 20 inches wide x 11 inches deep (at the base). The finish is a hand applied high quality wiping varnish that is rubbed out to a satin sheen. This is a handmade heirloom quality piece that would look wonderful in a bedroom, bathroom, or dressing room for many years to come.
