X-Country skiing under a full moon is a a wilderness joy few enjoy. We even skied under stars and our bodies left shadows on the snow. Our little boy, only 8 at the time was scared and wanted to go home. Dad had missed the full moon rise by a couple hours it seems! This piece brings back that memory.
