Two beautiful book-matched pieces of rustic, air-dried walnut found in a barn started this piece. Different from the kiln-dried walnut that was used for the butterfly key details and base, air-dried walnut has richer purples and reds throughout the boards. Mimicking George Nakashima's work, this coffee table was constructed with thick lumber and strong joints. Truly as unique as the tree the lumber was harvested from, this table will add interest and a personal touch to any room.
