This wall mounted entry case is made from hand selected maple. The inspiration for the design of the door and back panel is in part a result of the influences of artist Piet Mondrian. The carefully arranged series of rectangles are meant to draw the eye inward to the small square of blue and green … iridescent paua inlay. This place for safekeepings was titled after the nautilus seashell because of the way the shapes become smaller as they spiral towards the center of the door, and the relevance of the paua (the most vibrant of the abalone shells).

The case can be used for medicines, jewelry, makeup accessories, at an entry area or hallway for keys, wallets, and other valuables or anywhere else you might like to accent open wall space.
