Navy/Iris Footstool
CustomMade by Walter Turpening
The footstool or leg rest was the first piece developed using the curved woven seat surface concept. Weavers use a variation of this as a loom threading seat and it is the seat of the sliding seat bench. Ergonomically, the stool's height should be about 2 inches less than the seat height of the chair it is to be used with. The 5 degree splayed legs give it and all other designs stability. The cord colors are a blend of navy and iris. More navy in the weft and more iris in the warp.
