This was an original section of a historic home which the owner told us was a shed that was converted to a sitting room. We were hired to remove a small window and install a door to go to a new hot tub area. During demo we found that the floor could not support the new double french style door so … we rebuilt the floor and installed new wood flooring to match the adjacent area. It was old as we found hand hewn timbers and joists.

The door was a Kolbe and Kolbe door and had to be architectural series wood with realistic divided lites to meet historical guidelines.

The owner removed an old garden and prepped the area for the new hot tub that they purchased. We built the mahogany landing and ramp and did the electrical installation.
