New Orleans Dining Room Table Made From Distressed Wood And Wrought Iron

This dining room table is constructed from distressed painted wood that was once the outside of an old home in the St. Roch neighborhood of New Orleans. The home was abandoned after it flooded during Hurricane Katrina, but luckily has since been remodeled for a new family. The old exterior boards have been repurposed into a new dining room table.

The table's wrought iron legs are welded from the original balcony railing of a Greek Revival style home in the historic Garden District. This 1860s home fell into disrepair and its ornate victorian style railings were removed. The rusted brown patina of these rails pair beautifully with it's distressed painted blue top.

Don't like the blue painted table top? Don't worry, the paint can be removed or I have a variety of other pieces with different colors. This custom made table has already sold and each one is made to order. I have a very limited supply of wrought iron so if interested, please inquire soon.

Tables can be made to any size and dimension. The table shown measures 55" wide x 55" deep x 30" high.
