This pair of stool/bench/nightstands came entirely from one plank of mahogany. The legs are mortised through the top with the exposed tenons on the surface. This adds a nice little contrast on the swirly whorly grain of the tops.

I met Jason at his workshop and was very impressed with a project that he was working on at the time. Beautiful custom cabinets for someone's kitchen. Jason measured my old worn out cutting board and then I was on my way. Within a few weeks I had a beautiful solid maple cutting board that fit perfectly into my existing cabinet. It classes up the whole kitchen.
