This is the box that started it all for me. I was hooked. I still have this guitar and it's not for sale. Of course unless it gets to be stupid money. I replaced the golf tee with a wood screw as well as the nut. The box I copped at a yard sale because it was full of nails. Turns out this is … one of the best sounding boxes I have. I believe it's redwood. Someone painted Gun Parts on the end, and it needed to stay. This also inspired me to use .22 casings for fret markers. I learned alot from this build, action is way too high for picking but great for slide play. Every time I pick up this guitar I'm forced to grin ... oops another 2 hours gone. .....
