Rescued Resources rescues natural materials from places where stuff ends its typical useful life and then uses them to furnish your future.
These floor lamps were crafted out of an old oak timber that was found in a basement where it was stored years earlier but never used. The next stop was the firewood pile when it was rescued and a few years later found a new life as a pair of lamps. The wood shows some distress and is finished with a dark stain and clear wax. The shades were made using shellaced sheet mica with copper edging. The cost for similar lamps varies greatly depending on the shade requirements.
