Oak Wall Unit
Material: Flat Sawn and Quarter Sawn Red Oak
Location: Ellicott City, MD
The client wanted to complement existing furniture in a room with a wall unit that leans on the art and craft style. The unit is almost completely solid red oak. The sides are paneled. The doors are flat panel doors. The door panels and the drawer fronts are made of quarter sawn oak. The columns are square flutes which are toped by a small carving. All the drawers are dovetailed and slide on wooden runners. The wall unit features period hardware.
