This is a dreadnaught style guitar that is true to the 1930's Martin D-28. With a big box of old, straight grained Brazilian Rosewood and top of Italian Alpine Spruce, it is the flatpickers dream. The binding is Cocobolo with Abalalone accents and Herringbone top purfling. Scale length is 25.4" … with ebony fretboard and bridge. Tuners are Waverly's special version of the nickel, 1930s knob shape that were used on D-28 Martins. Mother of Pearl Bear logo inlay at the 12th fret. The Apline Spruce top has scalloped, forward shifted pre-war style Adirondack spruce bracing that helps to deliver strong fundamentals along with plenty of volume. This is a great guitar for, not only flatpicking, but any style of playing, includes a customized Cedar Creek hardshell case.
