Ojai House
CustomMade by David Sipos
This little structure was built to demonstrate the intricate details of Japanese living. Recycled douglas fir and red cedar from railroad ties makes up the frame. There are 2 tatami mats and a solid wood flooring area provides display to some ikebana. The shojis are made the traditional way with rice-paper and using no metal fasteners and slide in a track that is built into the upper and lower track.
