This box was made for a customer who really liked my Omega series, but wanted lighter colored materials. So, I used maple veneer to make plywood for the body, and the hinges, latch, feet and trays are madrone burl. Like all the Omega boxes, this one has 12 interior trays. Four full-width trays are … attached to the back wall, and four half-width trays are attached to the inner wall of each door. The trays have a curved tenon along the lower back edge that fits into a slot on the box wall. This makes them easy to remove for access to their contents. The price is $5000.
