One Man's Cave Table
The gentleman wanted a large, bar height table at which to hone his chess game and tie flies; the apron has two handy drawers for chess pieces or fly tying materials. To get the table down the narrow flight of stairs to his "man cave" the table's leg assembly is dismantled 15 1/2" off the floor, at the stretcher level. This not only makes moving the table easier but also results in a dining height table. The table's top is easily removed, also to facilitate moving the table; and, in case one wants to serve Japanese style, the top can be set on the removable part of the leg assembly.
